On Tuesday, August 16th Counselors will meet with Chaparral seniors during their English classes. They will discuss all things related to the college application process including Naviance, transcripts, essays, letters of recommendation, and scholarships.
The Chaparral Counseling Department is aware of how overwhelming this process can be especially if this is your first child applying to college. For this reason, they are inviting all senior parents to “Coffee with the Counselors” on Friday, August 19th at 9 am, on Chaparral’s campus, in room J600.
Please sign in at the front office upon arrival at the school.
During this session the counseling team will review everything presented to your senior during English class. A power point will be available of our presentation on the Counseling Department webpage after the meeting.
The most challenging part of advising seniors is knowing which seniors need help with which aspects of the process. Please do not hesitate to contact your counselor with any questions – they are here to help as much as you need along the way.
